Isabella's first piano recital was yesterday. She played Twinkle C and Cuckoo. She worked hard on these songs and was admittedly nervous to perform for a room filled with onlookers.
She was the first one on the program which made her more nervous when she found this out. She's had a cold for the last week and of course a fit of coughing caught her just as she was walking up to play. She managed to fight back the coughs and played 2 pieces beautifully.
The best part was that as soon as we got into the car she said-- I loved playing in the recital! When is the next one? I can't wait!
We were proud of Isabella but more importantly, she was proud of herself.
