Just recently I've been experimenting with my camera and am trying to understand the art of taking photos in manual mode. Probably about 1 in every 10 shots actually looks decent, but the more I practice, the better I will get, at least I hope. My biggest challenge is getting a shot that isn't blurry without the use of a tripod. It's also hard getting a two year old to stand still, well, actually impossible. The two shots above were the best out of the ones I took tonight.

I don't know how much better you can get! I am already using some of your flower pictures from Longwood as wallpaper because they are soooo good. The pictures of your girls are well-composed and look great. Just keep up the good work.
amazing! great job sophia!
