Happy Father's Day

Alright....the real reason I'm posting this entry is because I really slacked off on making this Father's Day truly special for Jason. Well, part of the reason might be because I spent the entire day Saturday trying to cope with a violent stomach bug and was basically glued to the toilet....(yeah, you get the picture). All of my last minute plans were going to come together on Saturday....little did I know I'd be on my death bed.

Anyway, I've actually been thinking for quite some time now about telling the blogging world how truly spectacular Jason really is. There are so many small things that he does without thinking twice and so many big things too.

The big things:

1. The way he totally adores Isabella. It's obvious. The guy is smitten by his daughter and she also by him. He can't wait to see her before he goes to work in the morning and looks forward to picking her up when he gets home and smothering her with kisses.

2. He tries do to what's right. While I'm usually trying to get Jason to bend the rules, he's the one to follow them. I truly do appreciate that.

3. The way he makes me laugh. The guy is really funny. At least I think so, and most will agree.


The small things:

1. He's a neat freak. He loves a tidy house (and never hesitates to actually clean it). He even rolls up the toothpaste when it's almost out and puts a clip on the end of it to make it easier to get out. genius.

2. He's the IT department in our house.

3. He never complains. Seriously. Well, if he does, it's so rare that I don't even notice it. Jason is a cup half full kind of guy.
